The Founder, Owner and Artist

 

Hello I am Jasmond Isaacs. I am the Founder, Owner, and Artist at Handcrafted from Home. I am grateful for my loving husband who does own the business with me. He is my biggest support system and has always encouraged me to create and do what makes me happy.

I am very eclectic - I love multiple styles- Rustic Vintage Farmhouse is my jam. I have learned to love neutrals in a whole new way - I used to hate neutrals until I figured out a way to make it work for me. I love sage greens and blues. Mixing metals is one of my new favorite things. You will see my love for texture and combining multiple styles to create something totally and completely me.

I always was afraid of not fitting into an “exact “ mold, but I have learned over the years that I can bring all of these beautiful styles together to create my own aesthetic. I have been surrounded by some form of art my entire life. My mother put her heart and soul into my childhood home. I watched her graciously and effortlessly paint our home in her own way- I knew my house was unique and no-one had a home like ours. She decorated with texture , murals, and color. She has been one of my biggest inspirations growing up. My grandmother and aunts are also very creative, and I take my love for decorating for every season from my grandmother. As I grow in my artistry I have loved being able to make different decor and switching up color palettes for each season and holiday.

I am excited for this journey and can’t wait for you to join me along the way . My husband and I will be bringing you handcrafted home decor that is beautiful ,cozy and timeless. Whether it is up-cycled from one of our thrift hauls or an original piece, we will put so much of our heart and soul into the decor and furniture that we create. Over the next couple of years I am excited to grow in our business, teach others how to decorate and bring their homes to life, and provide a safe community for artist and art lovers to come together and inspire one another.
